Arrival at the airport in Bangkok. After collecting your luggage, go to GATE 3 where you will be met by our English airport assistant. Transfer to hotel with driver only. Attention the rooms are guaranteed starting from 14:00. Our Customer Care awaits you in the Lobby or calls you for an appointment. Rest of the day available for individual activities.
The first stop of the day will be the "Temple of the reclining Buddha". Wat Pho is the oldest Buddhist monastery in the city and also houses the oldest Thai massage school. Following with a public boat we will reach Wat Arun, or Temple of Aurora. We will visit the ancient pastry shop (Thanusingha Bakery House), the small Baan Kudi Chin museum and the exotic Taoist temple of Kuan An Keng Shrine. Continue by car to the restaurant in a splendid panoramic position on the flow of life on the Chao Praya river and the old city. In the afternoon the last stop: the majestic and amazing Royal Grand Palace with Wat Phra Kaew, the "Temple of the Emerald Buddha". The Royal Palace also includes the Chakri Palace, the Dusit Palace and the Montien Palace. End of visits and return to the hotel.
Departure for a nice day of visits in the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. We then proceed to the Damnen Saduak Floating Market, we arrive at the pier and with a long tail boat in about 30 minutes through the canals, we reach the Floating Market. Departure to return to Bangkok, with arrival at the hotel expected around 12:00. Free afternoon for individual and / or optional activities.
Bang Pa In is reached with a short journey of about 60 kilometers north of Bangkok, along the banks of the Chaopraya River. Bang Pa In is one of the summer palaces of the Royal Family of Thailand. The palace dates back to the seventeenth century, before the settlement of Bangkok as the capital, which then fell into disuse for a long period. We proceed with the Ayutthaya Historical Park, the city was founded in the year 1350 and became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. In the afternoon we arrive at Sukhothai Historical Park. Inside the city there are 35 monuments including Buddhist temples and many other structures, including The Royal Palace and Wat Mahathat. Overnight in Sukhothai.
Si Satchanalai Historical Park is located on the bank of the Yorm River. The ruins of 134 monuments have been discovered within this park. The Vonburi House, built in Teak and was built in the late 1800s, early 1900s in European colonial style, today is an interesting museum house, very well preserved. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant. Lake Phayao is very popular with local tourists and is also an important fishing resource. Here you can choose from various activities (not included in the price, to be paid directly on site) including renting a boat to sail along the waters to Wat Tilokarum, or renting a bicycle to wander around the lake. Arrival in Chiang Rai around 18:00. Check In at the reserved hotel. Evening available.
Today we begin the exploration of the northernmost province of Thailand, with the famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of Myanmar, Thailand and Laos meet. The visit includes Wat Phra That Pu Khao which offers a wonderful view of the area. Two large multi-headed Naga snakes at the bottom of the staircase protect the temple. Continue with the Opium Museum, which exposes and erudes visitors on the production of opium and its use in the life of the tribal people of the hills, from the visit we can learn a lot about the history of opium since it developed in this notorious location. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. On the way to Chiang Mai, we stop at the famous White Temple, Wat Rong Khun. Stop at Mae Krachan's Hot Spring. Arrival in Chiang Mai in the evening.
Arrival at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Discover the elephants and change into traditional Karen clothes. Meeting with the elephants. Feed them, interact and play with elephants in a natural environment while learning about their behavior and story. Take photos with elephants. Mud Spa with elephants. Walk with the elephants on the river and wash them. Lunch with a traditional meal and then greeting the elephants. Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive for about 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai. Visit of Doi Suthep, the most important temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Breakfast at the hotel. Room available until 12:00. Two hours before the flight, meet with our driver and transfer to Chiang Mai airport. And flight to Samui. Arrived and transfer.
