From Ninh Binh to Halong Bay

After arriving at Noi Bai airport, you will be picked up and transfer to the hotel in the city center by our driver only. Hotel check-in is available at 2 p.m. You will have the rest of the day to yourself so exploring the city and going shopping is recommended. You will stay at a hotel for the night.

The trip will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, which compromises Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and his former stilt-house residence. You will then visit the Temple of Literature, which served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam. Next, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology which offers informative and well-documented displays of the country’s 54 ethnic groups. In the afternoon, we will return to the Old Quarter for a 1.5 hour walking tour and gain a deeper insight of the local daily life. We will then head for Ngoc Son Temple on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Ngoc Son Temple and the lake itself is both a symbol of Hanoi, as well as a popular tourist attraction. Depart at 09h00 from Hanoi to Mai Chau - a picturesque valley, where the White Thai predominantly inhabit. Arrive in Mai Chau around noon, transfer to hotel then lunch followed by a short break.

In the afternoon, we will make a nice bike ride or walk around the villages to discover an authentic country really unknown by mass tourism. After dinner, you will enjoy the traditional music show in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Pu Luong and enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve via a breathtaking mountain pass, offering a panoramic view of the whole valley. Arriving at your accommodation in time for lunch, followed up will be some free time to explore the beautiful retreat with captivating view and tranquil setting. In the afternoon, you will transfer to a suspension bridge over the Cham River where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Arriving at a local fisherman’s house, you can take a short rest to gear up for the bamboo river rafting with Dinh and his team. When you reach Tan Lap bridge, you will disembark and overnight in Pu Luong.

09:00 you will be pick up at your hotel to depart for Ninh Binh province (100km) for our day tour of Bai Dinh pagoda & Trang An ecosystem. We spend time to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda. Continue to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape complex nearby which recently recognized as an UNESCO World natural heritage. Our guide and driver will take you to Halong by private transfer. Arrive in Tuan Chau Harbour, you get on the ship and check in the cabin. You have lunch meals that cooked by 5-star chefs while enjoying the spectacular Halong scenery. There are many choices to experience: Rest on sundeck/ private balcony, relax in the 4-season jacuzzi (outdoor swimming pool), explore Ba Trai Dao area (Three Peaches Area) and swim on the clear green beach, visit the natural lagoon or kayak on the bay. Join the Sunset party (with drinks, fruit, cakes) or free to entertainment. The premium buffet is served with a variety of local seafood and other delicious dishes. Then you can go squid fishing or chill at the bar with a cocktail or free to retire. 

Breakfast time. Enjoy sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee and have bread, noodle,... at the restaurant. Then you visit Ao Ech area (Frog Lake area) - King Kong filming location (in 2018), free to kayak around the area and explore the exotic bay. Check-out room and pay the bill. After that, you have brunch cooked by special recipes on the way back to the harbour. Relax time before check out the cruise. Around midday, we will return to the main harbor & drive back to Hanoi by private transfer.

In the afternoon, our driver will take you to the theater to enjoy a traditional water puppet show. Overnight hotel in Hanoi.

You will have some free time to do anything you want. You will book hotel on your own.
