Travel to Saigon & Mekong Delta

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City formerly known as Saigon or "Pearl of the Far East", you will be welcomed by our guide and brought to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will have Saigon Street Food Walking Tour. It is through a walking tour, semi-night, created by us, that we take our travellers to discover signature dishes (local restaurant, desserts and drinks from the Mekong Delta). And finish with the city's highest point of view: the Bitexco Tower. Overnight hotel in Saigon. 

After breakfast, you drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, situated 70km from Saigon. The Cu Chi Tunnel system was created around 1948 to assist the Viet Minh in their combat against French occupiers. In the afternoon, you will visit the War Remnants Museum formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes. Next on the sightseeing list is pagoda of the Emperor of Jade. Then you will pass through Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. Finally stop at Ben Thanh market for a variety of products on sale. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

After 2 hours driving from HCM city, you will arrive at AN HOA bridge. Walk to the workshop to see how local people peeling-spliting-paring coconut by traditional ways. Then visit the colorful CAO DAI temple. Next, take the boat to visit a local factory to see many kilns to make activated charcal from coconut hard-shell. Arrive at Tam Hiep Island and have lunch in orchard garden. We will have the tuktuk to visit the farm where they are planting the creepers. Then we walk to the local house to make some local cake, enjoy them with the nice family. Next, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside to enjoy the peaceful time. Back the homestay for a fresh shower, then cook and enjoy dinner with the host family.

Having breakfast at homestay, have biking trip under the huge orchards on this island. We’ll come to visit the local market, school, bonsai garden, bee’s farm... Also, we can stop at the local pagoda. Come back our homestay, check-out and say goodbye to the host. Our boat will take us to come to visit an ancient Long Thanh Communial House (the national architectural heritage). Then have free time for riding on bicycle to the villages and look around the lush orchard fruits or relaxing on the hammock.

Cruising to Vinh Long for a land market. Arriving in Can Tho city. Leisure in the evening for wandering Tay Do night market, Ninh Kieu wharf or taste these delicious local dishes.

After breakfast, take a leisurely waking to Ninh Kieu wharf. Cruising in the river to the busy Cai Rang floating market, one of the biggest floating market in Southern Vietnam. Cycling in a village (only access by motorbike or bicycle) surrounded by nature, kids playing in river, lotus gardens in the shade of coconut trees is what you will experience. On top of that, traveler will meet families who are crafting baskets with leaves & bakers of Banh Hoi (rice vermicelli) for a small tasting. You can wander in the village and try your best to cross the bamboo bridge which is built only by one bamboo tree. Cruise back Ninh Kieu wharf. After lunch, heading to Chau Doc. Arrive in Chau Doc town. Check in the hotel and leisure in the evening.

Having breakfast at the hotel. At 07.00am, driven and climb up to Sam Mountain a particular symbol of Chau Doc town to visit Cave Pagoda. Then transfer to Tra Su cajuput forest, which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna. After that, proceed to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Free time for your own activities.

After breakfast, free time for relaxation until being transferred to take your departure flight from Saigon with our driver only. The hotel is available until noon only.
