WHAT IS A CUSTOMIZED TRIP?

Personalized trips, customized travel packages, tailor-made tours, is a travel term derived from the phrase tailor-made, meaning made especially for a particular person, group or purpose.
A personalized tour is a plan which built just for you. From flights to accommodation, guides and transfers, everything is arranged to suit your style, needs and budget. You will have the exact vacation you want: right time, right place, right accommodation, right experience.
How is a personal trip planned? You tell us what you want and then we organize the services to meet your holiday wishes. We will ask questions to help us really understand what you want. This way we can get as close as possible to your needs, both financially and vacation experience. We also advise to improve your trip to the best version.
 

DO WE HAVE TO JOIN A GROUP TOUR WITH THE OTHER PEOPLE?

Asiatica is a local travel agency which specialized in private and boutique style tours. You only hit the road with a private car with private driver and a professional local tour guide throughout your trip
 

HOW TO FIND INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS TO VIETNAM?

There are currently many direct flights from Australia and Singapore to Vietnam. However, the airline with the best price is still Vietjet Air.
You can visit free websites like Optionway and Skyscanner to easily find and compare airfares to Vietnam.
 
 

DOES ASIATICA TRAVEL OFFER INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS?

We do not sell international flights. However, in case you want some advices about your international flights, we can show you how to find airlines tickets for you through these websites: Optionway, Skyscanner.
 

DOES ASIATICA TRAVEL HAVE OFFICE OUTSIDE VIETNAM?

In addition to offices in Indochina countries, Asiatica Travel does not have offices in anywhere else in the world, but in the modern world, it’s very easy and fast contact by phone or via WhatsApp. We are ready to connect you via Internet or by following numbers: +84 96 322 03 85
 
 

DOES ASIATICA TRAVEL HANDLE MY ENTRY VISA?

Asiatica Travel does not handle entry visas for Laos and Cambodia. The visa application service upon arrival in Cambodia & Laos is very quick and simple, so visitors can easily do it themselves. However, Asiatica Travel will assist you in applying for a Vietnam entry visa. We will provide you a visa permit from Vietnam Department of Immigration, which will issue you a visa when you enter our country.

WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE IS USED FOR OUR CUSTOMERS?

All of the vehicles we use to serve our clients are new, comfortable, air-conditioned cars. Our drivers must be strictly selected. Fuel, tolls, accommodation, remuneration and meals for the driver are included in our tour price, only the tip is at your discretion.
We always arrange cars with a higher number of seats than the number of customers. Our standards are summarized in the following table:

HOW ARE THE MEALS INCLUDED IN YOUR TRIP?

In our offers, breakfast is usually served at the hotel. Therefore the breakfast is European style.
For lunch and dinner, dishes are often more local. For meals included in our offer, the menu can be pre-selected by Asiatica Travel (set menu). Lunch and dinner may be included in the tour price.
If you are on a dietary restriction or if you are allergic to any foods, do not hesitate to let us know so we can tailor our services to your wishes.
 
 

WHAT ARE ASIATICA TRAVEL'S HOTEL SELECTION CRITERIA?

There are many different types of hotels in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia: from small hotels without classification to luxury hotels, including standard hotels from 2 to 3 stars. In some regions where tourism is not yet developed (for example, northern Vietnam or northern Laos), the best hotels that can be found are only two to three stars.
Choosing the type of hotel depends entirely on your budget and wishes. Furthermore, two hotels of the same type may not have the same price because of different qualities.
The hotels included in our offer have been professional verified by our quality control management. Cleanliness, service quality, location, cozy and quiet interior are our selection criteria.
 
 

HOW DO WE STAY IN A LOCAL HOMESTAY?

During your program, you may spend one or more nights in a local homestay (B&B). Our local homestay is fully equipped: mattress, blanket, sheet, curtain for each guest. In any case, we advise you to bring basic hygiene products: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, towel, comb. If your suitcase has enough space, you can easily buy some from home.

IS TRAVEL INSURANCE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF ASIATICA TRAVEL?

IT IS NOT. Asiatica Travel does not provide you travel insurance services. Travel insurance which was bought in your home country is often better and more convenient than any travel insurance in Vietnam.

TIPS IN VIETNAM, CAMBODIA AND LAOS, HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?

Tip is not included in packages price and is not required. But as usual, in Vietnam as well as in Laos and Cambodia, customers will pay a small amount of money to encourage tour guides and drivers. You can't give anything away if you are not satisfied with their service.
We do not include tips for guides and drivers in our offers. 
 

HOW CAN I PAY MY DEPOSIT?

You can pay the booking deposit by credit card or international bank transfer.
If you pay by bank transfer, please ask your travel consultant to send you Asiatica Travel's bank details. Bank fees determined by your bank, including fees collected by the receiving bank, are paid by you.
If you pay by credit card, Asiatica Travel will send you an electronic invoice through email. Payments can be made from your computer in minutes. Bank fees, up to 1.7% of the deposit amount (for Visa, Master cards, etc.) or up to 2.805% of the deposit amount (for AMEX cards), are paid by you.
 
 

WHAT CURRENCY CAN I PAY IN FOR MY TRIP?

When you pay by credit card, we will receive the amount in VND and your account will be debited in your local currency (e.g. EUR, CAD, CHF), according to your bank's exchange rate.
When you pay in cash, we only convert the amount to Dollar or Euro, using the rate closest to the payment date published by the European Central Bank or Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam.
