After breakfast, you will visit the Grand Royal Palace, the official residence of the kings of Thailand since 1785. This complex is surrounded by a circle of walls 1900m long and stands on an area of 218.400m². It is used for royal ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, state banquets. You can admire famous and luxurious palaces, buildings and temples such as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keow), considered the most sacred Buddhist temple, which houses inside a large statue of Buddha carved in jade. Back to the hotel.
In the afternoon, free time for personal activities. Overnight at Hotel.
Early in the morning, you will depart to Kanchanaburi, located about 160 kilometers to the west from Bangkok.
The day will be dedicated to the visit of Kanchanaburi: the War Museum in which drawings, photographs, war relics, shells of bombs are put on display; the Allied Cemetery where 7,000 prisoners were buried during the Second World War; the Bridge over the Kwai River that was made famous by David Lean's 1957 film "The Bridge on the River Kwai". Continue on the train ride to visit the Temple of the Tigers. Lunch in a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, you will start to discover the magnificent nature of Kanchanaburi. Sitting on the boat, the river brings upstream to the waterfall of Saiyok, where you will have opportunity to admire its idyllic beauty that has been repeatedly celebrated in Thai poetry and songs. We continue the visit to the monument of the Hell Fire Pass with 73 meters length and 25 meter height built through the rock using simple tools and machinery. The last attraction is Lawa caves with plenty of stalactites and stalagmites. Lunch in a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, you will travel to for Ayutthaya to visit Bang Pa In - the Summer Palace, which was built on a river island and used as a country residence by the kings during Ayuttaya era. There is a mixture of architectural styles: European, Chinese and Thai; however, the complex reflects the personality of Rama V (on the throne from 1868 to 1910). The trip continues with Chaiwatthanaram temple - also called the temple of the Long Kingdom and the Glorious Age. It is a Buddhist temple built with Khmer architectural style; the ruins of the ancient city form the so-called "Ayutthaya Historical Park", one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lunch in a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, departure to visit Lopburi, the city of monkeys. This city that has several ancient ruins, but what makes it special is the presence of hundreds of monkeys that populate the tourist sites. We continue to visit Prang Sam Yot temple (Wat San Phra Kan). The journey ends with a visit to Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, located70 kilometers to the south of Sukhothai. Inside the park there were houses, barracks, palaces and temples but the ruins remained in laterite and stucco, the other original wooden buildings no longer exist. Arrival in Sukothai in the evening.
After breakfast, you will visit Sukothai Historical Park, where presents the ruins of the ancient Sukhothai, capital of the Kingdom of Sukhothai in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Inside are the ruins of the royal palace with 21 temples, in which the largest is Wat Mahathat, once the royal chapel. Later, you will visit Sri Satchanalai, the sister town of Sukothai with another Historical Park, considered as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue the trip to Lampang. Lunch in a local restaurant. Arrival in Lampang in the evening.
After breakfast, you will visit Wat Pratat Lampang Luang temple, where the famous image of the Emerald Buddha (today at Wat Phra Keo in Bangkok) has been exhibited for 32 years. Continue the journey to the famous Golden Triangle - an imprecise but impressive geographical name, which became famous in the 1970s. Gold was actually the opium and the astronomical richness that generated the production of heroin. Finish the day by visiting Mae Sai village, on the border with Burma (visa not included). Arrival in Chiang Rai. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, you will visit Doi Tung by Mae Fah Luang - the botanical garden of the Royal villa, where there are flowerbeds with a variety of flowers and shrubs that bloom all year round and form a beautiful hill which changes by seasons. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Tam Pla Caves (please be careful with the monkeys) and some ethnic villages. Return to the hotel in Chiang Rai in the late afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, you will departure at 7 o'clock by boat to go up the river Kok (right tributary of the river Mekong with 326 km length) to Patai. En route, stop to visit the ethnic villages. Arrival at Tathon, visit the temple with a splendid view of the valley. Lunch in a local restaurant. Stop at the village Mae Malai where you can visit a truly featured market, where you will find all the most characteristic items of Thailand. The tour continues to Pong Duern to visit the geysers and relax in the thermal waters in the park. Arrival in Pai in the evening. Dinner in hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Mae Hong Son, along the way, you will stop at Lod cave and descent the river with a bamboo raft. Arrival at Mae Hong Son and visit the city. Free time. Overnight at Hotel
After breakfast, visit the morning market and set off to visit some ethnic villages, including Women Giraffe - the village of the Pa Dong Karens, an agricultural community of hill tribes that grow rice, tea and tobacco. Some Pa Dong women have an elongated neck, carrying, for this purpose, brass rings around their neck, from an early age. The tour ends with visiting the elephants. In the afternoon, you will be transfered to Mae Sariang, a small rural town. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, departure to visit Chiang Mai. Along the way, stop to visit Ob Luang Gorge, also known as the Thai "Grand Canyon" and visit the Thep Phanom thermal springs. Following by a visit to the Doi Inthanon National Park, which is rich in flora and fauna, especially birds, and some ethnic minorities that live on its heights. Stop to visit some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the province of Chiang Mai.
Arrival in Chiang Mai in the evening. Dinner in hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, you will visit Doi Suthep temple, one of the most sacred places in the country, located on the hills above the city, from where you can admire a wonderful view. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards you will visit some artisan factories in Borsang and Sankampeng, which have made Chiang Mai famous all over the world. Silk, silver, cotton, jewels and hand-painted umbrellas are just some of the many items you can find here. In the evening, free time without driving or car to visit the Night Market. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, free time for personal activities until transfer to the airport for the return flight.
