Visit of Bangkok & Northern Thailand

Arrival at the airport in Bangkok. Rest of the day available for individual activities.

Meeting with the guide and departure for this half-day visit to some of the main attractions of this metropolis.

It begins with the Royal Palace and the famous Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It continues with the adjoining Wat Pho was founded during the 16th century and later became the Royal Temple of King Rama I of the Chakri dynasty. The visits end with Wat Trimitr, this Buddhist temple near Bangkok Chinatown is famous for one thing: the golden Buddha.

At 06:30 - 07:00: Meeting with the Guide and departure for a nice day of visits in the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. Let's start with the Railway Track Market (Hoop Rom Market) commonly also called Siang Tai Market (life threatening). We then proceed to the Damnen Saduak Floating Market, we arrive at the pier and with a long tail boat in about 30 minutes through the canals, we reach the Floating Market.

After breakfast, meet with the driver in the hotel lobby. Transfer to the airport and flight to Chiang Rai. We begin the exploration of this province, the northernmost of Thailand, with the famous Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Myanmar (ancient Burma), Thailand and Laos meet. The visit includes Wat Phra That Pu Khao which offers a wonderful view of the Golden Triangle, the Mekong River and the forested mountains. It continues with the Opium Museum. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to the city and transfer to the pier for boarding a motorboat that will take us to Ruam Mitr along the Kok River, with a visit to the ethnic minorities Karen and Lahu. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

At 07:00, meeting with the guide, visit the famous Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Seua Ten located a few kilometers from Chiang Rai. The Blue Temple of Chiang Rai is still little known among tourists for now, because it was completed very recently. Then we will start the path that takes us to Chiang Mai, during which a visit to the White Temple or Wat Rong Khun will not be missed. Lunch is served in a local restaurant along the way. Once in Chiang Mai, we complete the day dedicated to the temples with the most famous of Chiang Mai, Wat Pratat Doi Suthep, located on a mountain from the top of which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the hilly area of Chiang Mai. Overnight at the hotel in Chiang Mai.

Today we have a beautiful day at an elephant sanctuary, to get to know this Pachidermi better, a half-day visit that offers visitors a pleasant experience with the opportunity to spend time with elephants in their natural environment, and have a overview of their history and their behavior, thus creating pleasant memories for their time spent with these wonderful animals, who will accompany you throughout your life.

Breakfast at the hotel. Room available until 12:00. 2 hours before the flight, meet with our driver and transfer to Chiang Mai airport.
